This is a challenging time for the entire world presenting unique hardships for all of us due to COVID-19. But, situations like these, can bring out the best in humanity. At Gifted Music School we are energized and inspired to make the world better.

Our 10th Anniversary Gala has been postponed and our physical campuses are closed through the end of our spring semester. While we share your disappointment in these unprecedented circumstances, it is now more important than ever, that we embrace this time with resilience, together.

Resilience is in our DNA. While so many nonprofits like us are facing severe financial hardship in these uncertain times—some going so far as to furlough employees or suspend operations entirely—Gifted Music School is more committed than ever to serving our community. We recognize that many of our families and students are in financial hardship due to this crisis, and we want to assure you that we will continue to offer our tuition-free GRIT and Conservatory programs in addition to our tuition-based Preparatory Division. The campaign also represents a schoolwide effort to offer healing and uplifting content to the public at no cost. From curating free online performances to offering unique digital learning opportunities to the public, we are here for you. Check our website, email newsletters, and social media pages for more.

We know that this situation will bring out the best in us. We are more committed than ever to making our school accessible to the community during this public health crisis. Our team is working tirelessly to find creative ways to engage our community, facilitate online learning, encourage collaboration, and provide uplifting and inspiring content during these uncertain times.

Tuition covers only one-third of our operating expenses, and in the postponement of our 10th Anniversary Gala, we have lost our most critical fundraising event of the year. If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a contribution. A substantial portion of our annual operating budget is earned at these galas. If you are able to do so, please consider donating the amount of your ticket purchase.

  • Your donation supports Gifted Music School in giving over 700 music lessons per month to more than 600 students, many of whom are living in economic hardship or in need of financial aid.
  • Your donation supports our faculty in continuing to develop innovative and meaningful ways to connect with their students. We have entered an era of remote teaching, with the opportunity for unprecedented innovation in this area.
  • Your donation offers outstanding classical music education to children of all backgrounds, increasing literacy and academic achievement while enhancing all other facets of life, especially during this crisis.
  • Your donation supports the staff at Gifted Music School to continue facilitating these opportunities.
