GMS Students Secure Youth Guild Recital Spots

Adjudicators spellbound at talent!

February 24, 2020 – Salt Lake City

"Our students performed beautifully!" said Heather Moore, GMS Executive Director, upon returning from the Utah Symphony's Youth Guild competition. These are some pretty amazing results – GMS students secured 5 of 6 String solo spots, 1 of 2 Ensemble spots, 3 of 6 piano solo spots. and 3 Honorable Mentions. "Those are really impressive stats!" she stated. "We are so proud of all our amazing students that performed today! And, so grateful for the incredible faculty that pour so much love and kindness into the learning process.

Reflecting upon the words of Eugene Watanabe, founder – "These wins are a team effort". Congratulations to all participants, and thank you for making Gifted Music School a place where our students can thrive!
