Cafe Zupas Fundraiser

Cafe Zupas Fundraiser Night for Suzuki Early Childhood

The Gifted Music School is so excited to be offering Suzuki Early Childhood Education Classes this fall!

We're working on acquiring the instruments we need to run the class, and we need your help.

We are holding a fundraiser at Cafe Zupas (613 East 400 South) on August 29th between 5 and 9pm.  Come eat delicious food, and enjoy great company, and support GMS!  It's a win-win.

Just mention the Gifted Music School to the cashier when you checkout, and we will receive 20-25% of the profits that evening.

Here's a little more info about Suzuki Early Childhood Education:

In Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) we strive to lay the foundation for a beautiful character in a child by creating a safe learning environment for them to learn from their encouraging parent. Dr. Shinichi Suzuki believed that every child can learn a skill if their environment is supportive. Taught by two trained SECE instructors, Lisa Matsuda and Brecklyn Ferrin, this weekly class focuses on how to help the parent and child strengthen their bond through a rich curriculum of songs, rhymes and other stimulating activities.

The learning environment created by involved parents partnering with teachers nurtures growth in the child’s abilities and character. Not only do the children learn from and with their parents, they also learn from one another, at their own pace. Once parents are celebrating every successful step of the way with their child, they will see a continual progression of successes. Their child will joyfully develop a calm self confidence as well as vital social and emotional skills, discipline, and a love for making and listening to beautiful music.

If you can't make it to the fundraiser during that time (5-9 PM) on Tuesday, Aug 29th, but would still like to contribute, you can help us out by donating on the GMS website.  Go to the "donation" menu and select Suzuki Early Childhood Education under the "designated program" at the end of the donation form.  We'd really appreciate it!

If you'd like more info about the class, or would like to register, check out the Suzuki Early Childhood Education page on the GMS website.
