Suzuki Violin/Viola Teacher Training Workshop

"Always with Excellence: Developing Technique, Musicianship, and Character from PreTwinkle to Mozart"

A student's future success depends greatly upon the teacher's understanding and delivery of the content in the first volumes. The beginning stages lay the foundation for a skyscraper, and require the teacher to have a well-developed plan and successful communication strategies for working with children and their parents.

The dual goals of Suzuki Talent Education are the development of fine character and splendid musical abilities—and they arise together.  This journey towards excellence becomes our vehicle for developing critical thinking, discipline, grit, determination, artistry, communication, and self-expression in our students.

This 15-hour Enrichment course will explore the technical and musical content developed in the Suzuki Violin School, enhance the teacher's vision for excellence at every stage, and will explore the principles of effective studio teaching that connect every phase of a student's journey, from the Twinkle Variations to a Mozart Concerto.
